Lasertel Announces Expansion, New Leadership and Hiring Initiative

Custom laser diode supplier Lasertel Inc. is expanding operations with new leadership additions and hiring initiatives.

Graeme Creamer, vice president of strategy and programs, joins Lasertel with 30 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Victor Cruz, vice president of operations, brings expertise in engineering, operations, and plant management in the semiconductor industry.

The company is also implementing a new hiring initiative to fill positions in engineering, manufacturing operations, assembly, and sales. The company cites increased volume demands for laser diodes in applications such as directed energy, aerospace, automotive lidar, and medical devices as reason for the expansion.

Lasertel works with system integrators from design through high-volume production to meet performance, design, environmental, and cost demands for custom laser diodes.
