BOCA RATON, Fla., June 8 -- Cable Tech, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of WorldCast Interactive, has landed an $800,000 contract to provide 40 miles of fiber optics for a power company in California. The City of Santa Clara, Calif.'s municipal utility, Silicon Valley Power, has asked Cable Tech to provide high-speed Internet and Intranet connectivity for its residents and businesses within the Silicon Valley community.
As digital convergence and use of Internet and Intranet becomes the prevailing factor in our daily lives and around the world, cities like Santa Clara that host some of the most impressive technology-based companies are looking into the 21st Century and how they can provide cutting-edge services to their residents and business communities, said Ahmad Moradi, CEO of WorldCast Interactive.
