FISBA Names Christian Zellweger CTO and Head of R&D
FISBA AG has installed Christian Zellweger as its new chief technology officer and head of research and development. He replaces Martin Forrer, who is now the company’s senior vice president of business development.
Forrer is a 22-year veteran of FISBA and is located in the company’s St. Gallen, Switzerland, facility.
In his new role, Zellweger leads a team responsible for decisions in the quotations, product development, and technical projects areas. He also structures the services required by R&D and deploys teams to handle customer projects.

Zellweger studied at the University of Weingarten and graduated with a master’s degree in optics. He has been working in various executive positions in the optics sector for more than 10 years.
FISBA is a worldwide leading supplier of customized optical components, systems, and microsystems with locations across Europe and in the U.S.
