Fiber Technologies, Choice One Communications Sign 20-Year, $100 Million Agreement

ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 13--Fiber Technologies LLC has signed a Master Facilities Agreement worth $100 million with Choice One Communications. Fiber Technologies designs, constructs and leases high-performance fiber networks in second and third-tier markets in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US. Choice One Communications, an integrated communications provider of telecommunications services to second and third-tier markets in the Northeast and Mid-West, will receive a 20-year lease for dark fiber in a minimum of 13 cities from Fiber Technologies. The agreement also states that Choice One can lease additional fiber capacity wherever Fiber Technologies installs fiber networks in the future.
