Global Crossing, PaeTec Sign $10 Million Strategic Alliance
ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 14 -- Global Crossing North America's carrier services div. has signed a $10 million 15-year contract with PaeTec Communications Inc. Global Crossing has agreed to provide PaeTec with capacity on its OC-48 IP-based North American Crossing network.
This agreement will serve to strengthen PaeTec's planned nationwide data network by not only enhancing network capabilities and efficiencies throughout our existing network footprint, but also providing capacity for PaeTec's planned expansion, said E.J. Butler, PaeTec's president of wholesale services. PaeTec provides a variety of broadband services to medium and large sized businesses and organizations in 25 markets.
