Integral Vision to Supply eMagin with Inspection System
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., June 19 -- Integral Vision Inc. has received its first order for the SharpEye display inspection system since introducing the system at the Society of Information Display conference in Long Beach, Calif. last month. eMagin Corp., a developer of virtual imaging technology out of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., placed the order.
The SharpEye system inspects displays for full functional and cosmetic defects, and it can be set up to inspect small organic LEDs (OLED) with VGA, SVGA and XGA resolutions. Monochrome and color variations are not a problem for the system either, said Integral Vision.
We are very pleased to be selected to inspect the displays of eMagin, which recently introduced new OLED technology for entertainment, wireless and wearable computing applications, said Charles J. Drake, chairman and CEO of Integral Vision. One of our corporate goals is to specialize in inspections of this nature, in order to help our customers improve their yields and quality. Partnering with eMagin gives us the opportunity to work with a very impressive technology with a variety of potential applications.
