Yaskawa Europe to Relocate Corporate Headquarters
Yaskawa Europe GmbH, a subsidiary of Yaskawa Electric Corp., a manufacturer of mechatronics and robotics solutions and supplier of motion and control technology and regenerative energies, announced this month it will open a new corporate headquarters in Hattersheim, Germany, in 2022. The company is currently headquartered in Eschborn, Germany.
A groundbreaking ceremony at the new location, in which the company reported it invested approximately €23 million ($28.2 million), is scheduled for end of first quarter 2021, the company said in a press release. The facility will include Yaskawa’s European training center and an innovation center with an integrated showroom. The training center, the company said, will provide a location for trainers to teach participants how to use and program Motoman robots and Yaskawa drive, motion, and control technology.
Yaskawa Motoman Robotics provides industrial robotic automation solutions. It operates under the parent company Yaskawa Electric Corp.
