CyOptics Opens New Facilities in Israel
BURLINGTON, Mass., July 6 -- CyOptics Inc. has opened a new development and manufacturing facility in Yokneam, Israel, located between Tel Aviv and Haifa.
Our new Yokneam facility includes state-of-the-art cleanrooms and equipment for optoelectronic device packaging, test, burn-in and qualification, as well as development labs and expanded office space, said Dror Motovilov, CyOptics vice president of operations. The new facility enables us to continue on our aggressive development, hiring and manufacturing ramp up.
Yokneam was chosen for its large number of wireless communications, microelectronics and telecommunications companies, as well as its ability to offer additional developments services, including ISO 9000 certification expertise and electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility test facilities, said CyOptics.
