US Customs and Border Protection Awarding FLIR up to $23M for Surveillance Tech

The award specifies the delivery of the FLIR Lightweight Vehicle Surveillance System (LVSS) for Customs and Border Protection’s Mobile Surveillance Capability program; the SkyRaider drone tether kits; StormCaster T sensor payloads; and additional technology for the Low Altitude Autonomous Safety and Situational Awareness for Offices program. That contract has a base value of $545,000 and was awarded from a competitive general solicitation under authority of the Department of Homeland Security’s Commercial Solutions Opening Pilot Program.

FLIR Systems, Inc. is being acquired by Teledyne Technologies Inc.
