Rockley Expands Leadership Team: People in the News: 02/16/22

PASADENA, Calif. — Rockley Photonics Holdings promoted Hooman AbediaslSanjiv Kapoor, and Roozbeh Parsa to executive vice president positions. The company also promoted Casimir Wierzynski and Benjamin VerSteeg to senior vice president positions.

LOS GATOS, Calif. — Vision Products, a developer of technology for free space optical communication, fiber lasers, optical sensors, head-worn displays and vision systems, and other photonic applications, appointed Michael Browne president. Browne has more than 30 years of experience developing augmented-, virtual-, and mixed-reality systems for military and commercial customers. He served on the board of both SA Photonics and the Small Business Technology Council and has more than 30 relevant patents and publications.

NACKA STRAND, Sweden — Digital reality technology company Hexagon AB appointed Paolo Guglielmini COO and Norbert Hanke executive vice president. Guglielmini served as president of Hexagon’s manufacturing intelligence division. He previously held positions at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Switzerland, and Accenture.

QUEBEC CITY — Medical technology company OpSens appointed Brad Davis CCO. Davis will head a leadership team responsible for global commercialization and expanding commercial operations. Previously he served as vice president of global marketing and health care economics and reimbursement at Cardiovascular Systems.

RONKONKOMA, N.Y. — Medical technology company Qosina appointed Scott Herskovitz chair of its board of directors. Herskovitz is president and CEO of Qosina Corp. Stuart Herskovitz, Qosina’s founder and former chairman of the board, has stepped down to assume the position of chairperson emeritus.
