Leuze Names CEO: People in the News: 03/29/23

Sensor technology company Leuze named Xavier Hamers CEO and chairman of the executive board of the global Leuze electronic Inc., effective April 1. Hamers joins the company from BARTEC Safe.t Technology, where he served as CCO, and formerly as vice president for Central, South/Eastern Europe, as well as head of product management for heating technology.

BURLINGTON, Mass. — Digital manufacturing infrastructure technology company VulcanForms appointed David Kalinske vice president and general manager of aerospace and defense. Kalinske has held several executive roles in government services, manufacturing, commercial space, and defense companies. Most recently he was president of TDX Government Services Group, composed of companies in power systems engineering, aerospace operations, and sustainment. Kalinske also held leadership roles for Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs and served as chief revenue officer for Morpheus Space.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Intel Corp. appointed Stuart Pann senior vice president and general manager of Intel Foundry Services, Intel’s commercial foundry business. Pann previously served as senior vice president, chief business transformation officer, and general manager of Intel’s Corporate Planning Group. He started his career at Intel and returned to the company in 2021, having previously served as chief supply chain officer and chief information officer at HP for six years. Prior to that, Pann served as corporate vice president and general manager of Intel’s Business Management Group.

QUEBEC CITY — OpSens, a cardiology-focused medical device company, named John Hannigan CFO, effective immediately. Hannigan served as vice president of finance at diaMentis Inc., a company focused on personalized medicine for mental health diagnostics. Prior to diaMentis, Hannigan worked in various senior financial management positions for IPL Plastics.

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — Kopin Corp., a provider of application specific optical systems for defense, enterprise, professional, and consumer markets, named Raymond Schubnel director of quality. Schubnel joins Kopin from Raytheon Technology, where he held several quality and manufacturing leadership positions in the production of radio frequency monolithic microwave integrated circuit semiconductors through radar systems.

RESTON, Va. — Skip Maselli will join Pixxel as vice president of public sector, USA. Maselli has more than 35 years of experience within the commercial, defense, and intelligence communities at companies including Leidos, Maxar, and Raytheon. Pixxel is a space data company building a constellation of high-resolution hyperspectral Earth-imaging satellites.
