RSL Subsidiary Activates Barcelona and Valencia Fiber

MADRID, Spain, Aug. 11 -- ALO Comunicaciones S.A., a subsidiary of RSL Communications Ltd., has activated the initial phase of its fiber optic metropolitan area networks in Barcelona and Valencia. The networks will eventually link customers to ALO's Genesis network, a domestic trunk network, as well as to RSL Communications' worldwide network, RSL NET.
In addition to the fiber, ALO offers other access technologies such as point-to-point and, by the end of the year, ISDN, ADSL, and LMDS, in order to cover more extensive areas.
