DataCom Reports Fiber Optic Conduit Agreement

IUKA, Miss., Aug. 23 -- North American DataCom Inc. has purchased more than one thousand miles of fiber optic conduit to add to its ongoing broadband fiber optic and wireless distribution network within the southeastern US. The fiber will connect the cities of Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Memphis, Tenn. The company purchased 500 miles of conduit between Jacksonville, Fla. and New Orleans previously this year.
DataCom will furnish Enterprise Data Storage Services, Bandwidth, and Professional Services for high-speed Storage Area Networks and point-to-point Critical Data Storage. DataCom's network infrastructure will be used for data availability, data protection, scalability, and performance for the medical, financial, government, and corporate arenas.
