Metromedia Fiber Network to Provide Fiber Infrastructure to Telseon

NEW YORK, Sept. 1 -- Metromedia Fiber Network Inc. will lease dark fiber to Telseon, a metro area Internet infrastructure provider based in Denver, Colo. The agreement allows Telseon access to Metromedia Fiber Network's infrastructure to provide fast, IP-based services for service providers and their projected customers in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Washington DC, Seattle, San Francisco and San Jose, California.
Our agreement with MFN will expand our fiber footprint significantly within key metropolitan areas throughout the United States, said John Kane, CEO of Telseon. And provide us with the fiber we need to complete our year 2000, 20-city deployment plan. We will now have the ability to continue to get our customers up and running quickly and efficiently by using our unique customer controlled provisioning system over a solid fiber-optic infrastructure.
