Williams Makes $41 Million Deal with Dominion
TULSA, Okla., Oct. 2 -- The network unit of Williams Communications Inc. has finalized a 20-year, $41.1 million deal with Dominion Telecom, a subsidiary of Dominion Inc. The agreement calls for Williams to sell Dominion Telecom more than 6000 fiber miles on its nationwide fiber optic network, as well as contribute fiber services and co-location services for the length of the contract. Williams has also agreed to supply off-network services so Dominion Telecom has the capacity to expand in the future.
