CyOptics Inc. Raises $57 Million from Cisco, Corning, Intel and Vitesse
BURLINGTON, Mass., Oct. 6 -- CyOptics Inc. has completed a $57 million round of funding led by Cisco Systems. The financing will go toward product development, increased expansion of the company's manufacturing facilities and customer support infrastructure, said CyOptics. CyOptics has raised more than $77 million since its opening.
Teaming-up with Cisco Systems during CyOptics' latest round of funding was Intel Capital and Vitesse Semiconductor. All of CyOptics' original investors participated as well.
