Aeroflex Wins $12 Million in Fiber Optic Assembly Orders
PLAINVIEW, N.Y., Jan. 2 -- Aeroflex Inc. has received contracts from two fiber optic module manufacturers for microelectronic thin-film assemblies worth more than $12 million. The thin-film assemblies are used in advanced OC-48 and OC-192 receivers, transmitters and lithium niobate modulators. The orders will ship throughout the next nine months, said Aeroflex.
