Sensors Unlimited Expands Princeton Facility

PRINCETON, N.J., Jan. 5 -- Sensors Unlimited Inc., a supplier of optical components that monitor the performance of dense wavelength division multiplexing systems, is opening an expanded facility for the design and fabrication of fiber optic components. The opening, set for January 12, will be held in conjunction with the New Jersey Technology Council.
The demand for reliable, high-speed bandwidth is driving Sensors Unlimited's rapid growth, notes John Sudol, vice president of operations at Sensors Unlimited. Our newly expanded, world-class cleanroom facilities will enable us to meet our customers' expectations for product delivery.
The company currently has more than 35,000 square feet of space for technical, administrative and support functions. Technical capabilities include the class 1000/100 cleanroom for complete device processing and testing of III-V compound detectors and lasers.
