Imaging Diagnostic Receives Orders from Syncor for CTLM Systems

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 15 -- Imaging Diagnostic Systems Inc. and Syncor Overseas Ltd., a subsidiary of Syncor International Corp., have signed an agreement to deploy three computed tomography laser mammography (CTLM) systems.
These purchase orders further support Imaging Diagnostics' objective to advance in the arena of a medical manufacturing company for commercial use. We have waited a long time for this moment and will continue our efforts to bring to the industry a much needed and consumer desired medical imaging system, said Linda B. Grable, President.
Imaging Diagnostic Systems is seeking pre-market approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for its CTLM system to be used with mammography to aid in the detection of breast abnormalities. Under the new modular submission approach, the company's pre-market approval application has been divided into different modules, each of which will contain documentation required for the FDA review. The company has submitted two modules and is currently completing the next set of modules to be submitted.
