HBCNC, a participant in China's pilot program aimed at building a national information infrastructure, currently provides cable services to over 450,000 subscribers
Motorola is pleased to participate in the upgrade of Hangzhou Broadcasting and CATV Network Center's infrastructure to an HFC two-way network, said K.Y. Chan, vice president of Motorola and General Manager of the Broadband Communications Sector's Asia Pacific region. By integrating Motorola's OmniStar optical transmitters and Starline optical nodes, HBCNC will be able to provide the advanced voice, video, and data services that their subscribers demand.
