Kestrel Solutions Expands into Atlanta

Mountain View, Calif., Jan. 31 -- Kestrel Solutions Inc., a provider of metro optical networking, announced the opening of a new office in Atlanta, Ga. The new facility supports the product management division responsible for Kestrel's next generation product line, as well as members of the Kestrel sales team. The office is located at 1117 Perimeter Center West, Suite 500 East, Atlanta, Ga. The Atlanta location will allow Kestrel to drive its new product development programs on the East Coast.

Kestrel's flagship product, the Talon1000, is a flexible transport network element that is designed to increase the capacity of existing fiber networks. The Talon1000 enables metropolitan telecommunications service providers to send up to 10 Gb/s of bandwidth over a single fiber.
