Renishaw, EIC Collaborate on Raman Spectroscopy

Renishaw has forged a union with EIC Laboratories Raman Systems Div. to offer both instruments and applications in Raman spectroscopy. The partnership takes advantage of Renishaw's expertise in the manufacture of Raman spectrometers and microscopes and a range of Raman process analyzers.
EIC, based in Norwood, Mass., makes ruggedized fiber optic echelle Raman spectrometer systems and a line of fiber probes that allow Raman spectroscopy to be applied in difficult conditions. EIC also specializes in taking Raman applications from the laboratory into the field.
