MetroRED To Deploy Ciena's MultiWave CoreStream

LINTHICUM, Md., Feb. 2 -- Ciena Corp. and MetroRED Telecomunicacoes, a subsidiary of MetroRED Telecom Group Ltd., have signed an agreement for MetroRED to deploy Ciena's MultiWave CoreStream intelligent optical transport systems for its high-capacity network connecting Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
