Plexus, AirFiber Sign Distribution Agreement

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 22 -- AirFiber Inc., a developer of wireless optical networking equipment, has signed an agreement with Plexus Technology Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of communications system integrator Teledata (Singapore) Ltd., to sell AirFiber's products throughout South East Asia.
Under the terms of the agreement, Plexus will distribute AirFiber's OptiMesh wireless optical networking equipment to customers in the South East Asian countries of Malaysia, Thailand, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore. The OptiMesh products will allow carriers in the region to deliver end-to-end broadband access by transmitting data at 622 Mb/s over the air rather than via conduits installed in the ground.
