HP and Fantastic Team Up

PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 28 -- The Fantastic Corp. and Hewlett-Packard Co. announced a reseller agreement that will allow them to accelerate the adoption of broadband technology globally. Under the agreement, HP will be able to offer Fantastic software for content delivery as part of its overall broadband service offering to network and telecommunication companies.
HP will be able to offer Fantastic's Channel Editorial Center and Channel Management Center software together with HP servers, PCs, consulting services and support. The initial offerings will be tailored to the needs of network service providers and enterprises seeking to offer broadband services to companies and content providers.
"We are proud that HP has selected Fantastic's technology," said Reto Braun chairman and CEO of Fantastic. "This relationship with HP is an important step for Fantastic as it significantly extends our ability to deliver solutions to customers."
Fantastic and HP also are collaborating on development activities to enhance Fantastic's broadband distribution platforms for content providers and network operators on HP-UX for increased scalability and reliability in high availability system configurations.
