Micronic, Image Technology Forge New Ties

TABY, Sweden, April 3 – Following the acquisition of Image Technology by Suss MicroTec, an order has been placed for two advanced packaging systems from Micronic with an option to purchase an additional third system. This order replaces a previous multisystem order from Image Technology.

Image Technology produces precision photomasks for wafer-level advanced packaging, microelectromechanical systems and opto-electronic applications. Additionally, Image Technology is developing capabilities to provide large area precision photomasks required for 300 mm wafers used in full-field lithography.
