Sibercore and Zettacom Collaborate on High-Performance Network Processing
OTTAWA, Canada, April 13 -- ZettaCom Inc. and SiberCore Technologies have teamed up for the first time in order to provide network equipment developers with an off-the-shelf, production-ready, configurable network processing OC-192 (10 Gb/s) solution. The alliance between ZettaCom and SiberCore targets sophisticated LAN, WAN, MAN and SAN systems and provides these companies with a reference design combining integrated circuits from both companies, delivering the features and performance they need while enabling changes to address emerging standards and evolving networking requirements.
SiberCore Technologies is a provider of silicon-based packet management products and solutions to the Internet infrastructure market. ZettaCom is a supplier of high-performance and configurable optical silicon solutions. The SiberCore / ZettaCom reference design is the latest product to emerge from SiberCore's SiberLink Strategic Partnership Program.
