Keynote Speakers Announced for Monterey 2001

SAN MATEO, Calif., April 13 -- The ElectroniCast Corp. has announced the keynote speakers for the 13th Annual Fiber Optics for the Next Decade Conference in Monterey, Calif., that will be held April 30 through May 2. The conference is a comprehensive overview of market trends and technology developments driving the fiber optics industry. Keynote speakers at Monterey this year are Michael Lebby, CEO of Ignis Optics, Jost Spielvogel, president of Siemens Optical Networks, and Helmut Vogler, vice president of Infineon Technologies North America Corp.
    Lebby has more than 20 years of experience in the field of optical communications. Prior to founding IO, he was a director at Intel where he served dual roles in Intel Capital and in Intel's optical effort.
    Spielvogel has global management responsibility as president of the Optical Networks Division of Siemens Information and Communication Networks Group. Spielvogel has more than 30 years of experience in the international telecommunications industry.
    Helmut Vogler was named vice president of worldwide sales and marketing of fiber optics and high-speed communications at Infineon Technologies in March 2001. Before that he was named vice president of wireless, fiber optics and high-speed communications at Infineon Technologies North America Corp.
    ElectroniCast forecasts trends in communication networks and in the products and components used in those networks. ElectroniCast conducts studies and provides forecasts in the worldwide optical communication components and network product industries.
