Village Networks Expands With Worldwide Sales
EATONTOWN, N.J., May 3 -- Village Networks Inc., a provider of integrated IP-over-optics networking solutions, announced significant expansion to facilitate the successful deployment of its flagship product the iOPN2000 this summer. The company, which now has about 140
employees, has expanded the sales team and added manufacturing and operations facilities. Additionally, they have moved their corporate headquarters to a new 75,000 square-foot facility.
Village Networks' growth reflects the maturing of the company from start-up to product deployment and revenue generation. David Bifulco, vice president of sales, has put a national and international sales force in place to enable the company to take advantage of business opportunities across the globe. Village Networks has established offices in Dallas, Texas, focusing on the southwestern and central regions; Denver, Colo., focusing on the west; Metropolitan New York, addressing the northeast; and Washington, D.C., covering the mid-Atlantic and southern regions. The company has also added two international offices.
