Russia Picks Corning Fiber for TransTeleCom Expansion
CORNING, N.Y., June 15 -- Corning Inc. said that TransTeleCom has selected Corning LEAF fiber as the optical backbone for the next phase of its long-haul network. Corning will continue to supply LEAF optical fiber through a long-term supply agreement, extending through 2003, with the Russian telecommunications carrier and its cabler, TransVoc.
