PerkinElmer Announces Availability of Advanced Channel Photomultiplier Technology
FREMONT, Calif., June 18 -- PerkinElmer, a lighting, imaging and telecom solutions company, has unveiled a simple solution for engineers who require the detection of the lowest light levels. PerkinElmer's photomultiplier module and photo detector module feature, among other things, a unique gating function and new technology that lowers detection limits.
PerkinElmer's CPM Photoncounting modules MP-series 9xx, 13xx, or 19xx offer high dynamic range from below 10 counts per second to 5 million counts per second (5MHz), using only 5 volts of power, providing customers with a complete solution for the detection of lowest light levels.
PerkinElmer's CPMs and modules are optimized for use in all low light or single photon detection applications such as instrumentation, particle analysis, life science, high energy physics for luminescence and fluorescence, in-vitro assay, environmental measurements and pure research.
