PacketLight Networks and Flextronics Sign Strategic Manufacturing Agreement
KFAR-SABA, Israel, June 26 -- PacketLight Networks, a developer of advanced optical service
transport systems, announced the signing of a strategic manufacturing agreement with Flextronics. Under the agreement, Flextronics will produce, assemble and test PacketLight products.
PacketLight's all-packet optical multiple-service transport system supports SONET systems while accommodating emerging data and storage area network services. Based on PacketLight's patent-pending technology and architecture, the system has the capability to combine data, voice, storage and video, supporting TDM, ATM, IP, SAN and all optical signals within a single, all-packet fabric.

"Their logistics capabilities will enable us to provide quality products close to our customers in North America and other international markets.
