Zolo Technologies Completes Acquisition of Hyperfine

LOUISVILLE, Colo., June 27 -- Zolo Technologies Inc., a developer and manufacturer of optical networking subsystems, announced that it has completed its acquisition of optical gratings manufacturer Hyperfine Inc., located in Boulder, Colorado. The acquisition closely follows a recent announcement by Zolo that it has closed on $32.5 million in series B financing.
Hyperfine produces research-quality holographic and diffraction gratings and replicates optical gratings used in atmospheric research, laser radars, optical computing and telecommunications. The company has produced gratings for NASA, the Department of Defense, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, among many others.
