Videology Adds Fixed Camera Dome Line

GREENVILLE, R.I., July 18 -- Videology Imaging Solutions Inc., an ISO9001 registered video camera developer and manufacturer serving security, industrial and machine vision, biometric and specialty OEM markets, and Videology Imaging Solutions BV, based in Uden, the Netherlands, have unveiled their newly redesigned 3.5 and 5-inch dome series. The dome's aesthetics and features are a response to market research and customer requests. As long standing producers of a complete line of high-performance video camera boards the next level of incorporation was obvious; complete, housed camera assemblies.
Videology's aesthetically contoured dome design integrates within any background. Texture and color options are available. "The traditional box camera is fading away, " said Carol Ethier, director of marketing at videology. "Over the next few years we will be seeing more and more dome shapes replacing traditional camera housings. Increasingly, public domains prefer to blend camera equipment into the decor rather than have surveillance blatantly obvious and intrusive in ugly fixturing."
Videology Imaging Solution is a privately held company headquartered in Rhode Island, and has affiliated operations and offices in Uden, the Netherlands. It was formed in 1991 as an offshoot of various Philips groups involved in image acquisition.
