Essent Kabelcom Picks Corning for Network Project
CORNING, NY, Sept. 7 -- Corning Incorporated and Essent Kabelcom, the second largest cable-operator in the Netherlands, said that Essent Kabelcom has selected Corning MetroCor optical fiber for its Western Europe network project. Corning is supplying Essent Kabelcom with more than 60,000 kms of MetroCor fiber for a 510-km link between Amsterdam, Groningen, Bremen, and Hamburg.
