Richard A. Morin has been promoted to senior vice president of finance and administration at Cognex Corp. This is in addition to his current positions as CFO and treasurer of Cognex.   . . .   The International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS) announced the 2001 Sidney J. Stein Education Foundation grant recipients. Four grants of $15,000 each support the research efforts of the four winning students. Winning students also submit research papers for publication and presentation at the IMAPS 2002 International Symposium in Denver, Colo. The 2001 recipients include Steven C. DeBlasio of The Pennsylvania State University, Randy Klein of Florida International University, Hua Ye of State University of New York at Buffalo and Wang Yu, University of Pennsylvania/Moore School of Electrical Engineering.
