MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 10 -- CyberOptics Corp. has begun a new round of cost-reduction measures, including an approximate 10 percent reduction of its worldwide workforce. Two previous workforce reductions were instituted in 2001, totaling approximately 20 percent of the company's worldwide employment. CyberOptics will also consolidate all semiconductor product manufacturing in the its Portland, Or., facility and delay development of some new products.Read full articleRelated content from Photonics MediaArticlesLow-Cost Solar Cell Amplifies Performance Potential of PerovskiteAn international research team has produced an all-perovskite tandem solar cell with exceptionally high open-circuit voltage and efficiency.
