Medardo Monzon has been appointed CEO of Nanova LLC, a new spinoff of Nanomat Inc., a nanomaterials and technology firm based in North Huntingdon, Pa. Monzon will assume his new post early this month. Nanova will manufacture Nanomat's nanopowder products, NanoTalc and NanoCalc. Nanomat said it will initially hire 20 Nanova employees and that it plans to built a 200,000-square-foot Nanova facility that will provide 100 to 200 new jobs.
