CINCINNATI, Sept. 20 -- Corning Precision Lens Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Corning Inc., announced it has opened a new sales office and warehouse in Shanghai, China.
The new entity, Corning (Shanghai) Logistic Co. Ltd. -- a subsidiary of Corning International -- is a reflection of China's projection television industry growth, the company said, and will be the second entity Corning has opened in that country in the last two years.
Corning Precision Lens' expansion will support manufacturers of projection televisions in China more effectively, Corning said.
