GE Medical Systems announced it has received more than 200 orders for its EXCITE magnetic resonance imaging technology, and that it expects to ship more than 300 units by year's end. EXCITE aids diagnoses of heart conditions, vascular disease, stroke, abdominal and brain disorders and common problems in the knee and shoulder.
