ALBANY, N.Y., Nov. 22 -- Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL) will establish a $300 million research and development facility at the Albany Center of Excellence, creating more than 300 high-tech jobs in the area. The State and TEL are also discussing setting up other manufacturing facilities for TEL in New York, Governor George E. Pataki announced yesterday. The new facility, to open in the Spring of 2003, is part of Pataki's effort to create a "high-tech corridor" in New York.
