Declining Defense Budget Will Not Hinder Electronics Growth

Despite projections that the US Department of Defense's overall budget will decline within 10 years, the portion of the defense budget allotted for electronics is expected to increase. That's the finding of the Electronic Industries Association's 10-year forecast committee. The committee's chairman, Emily Willey of Honeywell Inc., presented those findings at the 33rd Annual Ten-Year Defense & NASA Electronics Forecast Conference in McLean, Va.
