Kollmorgen Corp.'s Electro-Optical Division has opened a new facility at the Airport Business Park in Groton, Conn. Kollmorgen also has facilities in Northampton, Mass., and Brattleboro, Vt. The Groton facility will be used to provide onsite systems and software technical services to the US Navy’s submarine programs at General Dynamics Electric Boat. It will also be used for support to deployed submarines at the Navy base in Groton.   . . .   Three-Five Systems Inc., a provider of display products and systems, has announced it is shipping volume custom-designed Color-STN display modules; customers include a European platform integration design house.
