Sensor Producer Ups Its Stake in Machine Vision

Industrial sensor system producer SICK AG of Waldkirch im Breisgau, Germany, has increased its stake in Integrated Vision Products AB of Linkoping, Sweden, from 25 to 92 percent. Integrated Vision has expertise in machine vision that will be employed within SICK's Industrial Sensors Div., and it will continue to supply OEM machine builders and vision integrators with high-performance, three-dimensional vision cameras. The companies have had a partnership since 1999, which has included research and development, and marketing activities.Read full article
