Dalsa Wins Contracts for Customized Cameras

The Application Specific Contracts group of Dalsa Corp., which is based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, has received contracts totaling $2.5 million from two clients for the custom development of high-performance electronic cameras. In a project for a semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer to be completed in 20 months, Dalsa will produce an image sensor and digital camera to inspect semiconductor wafers at high speeds and low light levels. The second contract, to be completed in roughly four months, is for a camera that will be incorporated into an imaging system for remote sensing.
