Dalsa Supplies Chips for Aerial Mapping Camera

Dalsa Corp. of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, will supply high-performance CCD image sensor chips to Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions of Madison, Ala., under a 15-month, $2.2 million contract. Intergraph will use the chips in its Z/I DMC digital mapping camera, a large-format aerial system incorporating multiple chips that allow it to capture detailed imagery. The company sells the camera to photogrammetry organizations for planning, engineering, surveying and mapping.
