CMOS image sensor design companies Awaiba Lda., based in Madeira, Portugal, and Alexima, of Pasadena, Calif., have finalized an agreement that will enable them to share intellectual property and collaborate on developing products for camera manufacturers. Alex Krymski, founder of Alexima, said, "Joining forces with Awaiba will empower us to satisfy the vacuum created when companies like Photobit Technology and Fillfactory were sold."
