Dalsa Licenses Philips CMOS Sensor Technology

Dalsa Corp. of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, has signed an agreement to license CMOS image sensor technology from the Netherlands-based Royal Philips Electronics NV. The arrangement will enable Dalsa to use Philips' patent rights, expertise, and product and prototype device designs relating to the technology. This access to intellectual property is a step in Dalsa's strategy for growth in its digital imaging division.
