OIDA Issues Report on Fiber Optic Sensors

The Optical Industry Development Association (OIDA) has released a report based on the results of its 2005 Fiber Optic Sensor Workshop. Available to association members, the document includes the organization’s fiber optic sensor road map as well as analysis of the optoelectronic sensor market. The purpose of the workshop was to reach a consensus on optoelectronic sensor technologies, competition and potential markets for the sensors, obstacles to be overcome, and the role of the association in improving profit for the industry.Read full article
