Barr Associates to Buy Optical Coating
Barr Associates of Westford, Mass., has agreed to acquire the assets of the Natick, Mass.-based Optical Coating Corp., whose operations will be integrated with Barr’s Westford facilities. Both companies produce precision thin-film coatings and filters. This acquisition, with a focus on fabricating products in the infrared wavelengths, will increase the production capacity of the parent company.
